The OTA weighs only 6.44kg/ 14.18lb, easy to carry out when fitting into the carrying case. The length of the dovetail is as high as 300mm, longer than the length of most dovetails. It can maintain the balance to the greatest extent, and it will be more convenient in the adjustment process. The entire tube rings have 26 screw holes + a mounting screw handle. Such tube rings with so many screw holes can be compatible with more equipment installations, like Smart WIFI device, guide scope, astronomy camera etc., meeting various needs of installations.
FPL51 Triplet > FPL53 Doublet - Just For Better Clarity
The SV550 122mm adopts a FPL-51 triplet apochromatic lens structure which contains one piece of ED glass. The triplet lens provides better correction of aberration and significantly reduces chromatic aberration and enhance the clarity and sharpness.
R&P Dual Speed Focuser
The gear ratio of the dual speed 2.5-inch toothed focuser is 1: 10, which makes it easy to achieve accurate focus. The dual speed focuser can provide two focusing speeds by using a set of co-axial knobs, for fast focusing and fine focusing.

The SV550 refractor is compatible with 2-inch and M63*1 accessories. The front is a 2-inch adapter for connecting a camera or 2-inch accessories; Rotating off the adapter, here threaded the M63*1 threads, for connecting the SV209 field flattener or other M63*1 accessories.

For EAF Installation
This SV550 122 APO is compatible with EAF focuser. To install the EAF, first you should remove the screw completely as shown. Then look inside the hole and slowly rotate the focuser until you see another set screw inside the hole. This screw actually secures the focusing knob to the shaft. Insert a wrench and loosen this screw. Note that there may be two of these screws, so rotate the focusing shaft one turn to be sure. The focus knob will slide off after that.
